Manor walked into the room and bought coffee for Tasha.

He was trying hard enough to make Tasha choose him when that time comes.

‘Here have some green coffee, it will help with the recovering’ 

‘I don’t drink green coffee’ she said lost in thought and Manor felt really hurt, it’s just coffee so why will she reject it.

He placed the coffee beside her bed before holding her hands.

‘What?’ Tasha asked frightened and retracted her hands.

‘You are not feeling well and I decided to bring you coffee, the least you could do is to accept it’

‘Seriously I don’t drink green coffee, my husband always drinks black coffee so I got use to drinking black’ she said reminiscing on her past.

She remembers that next month is her wedding anniversary together with Jay, on that day Jay always buys her something special…last year he had bought an arcade photograph that represented love. The artist who drew it was well known for the affair of the heart.

‘Do you know why I bought this painting instead of diamond or a designer outfit? So that whenever you run out of love for me then this painting will be able to bring it back’ those are the words Jay had said to her that night.

But she didn’t offer him anything as she was busy in her music career and totally forgot it was their anniversary…now she felt bad.

And Jay was always there for her even in the shadows.

Manor saw her lost look and he knew she was thinking about Jay, he is right here so why don’t she think about him.

‘I love green coffee and you are my wife so get use to green coffee’ he said angrily and Tasha frowned.

‘Is this really the tone you want to use to make me love you? And am not your wife’ 

‘You are my wife Tasha’ Manor scolded trying to control his anger…he really was short tempered.

‘I am not, you are already old enough and couldn’t afford a wife for yourself but here you are now trying to steal your age mate wife’

‘Don’t talk to me in that tone’

‘Paaat’

Manor slapped her so sad that blood oozed out of her lips.

Tasha could feel her jaw go numb.

‘Am really sorry’ Manor tried touching her but she pushed his hands away.

‘Don’t touch me monster’ she scolded and pushed him away, she covered the duvet all over her body then faced the other side of the room

‘Jay’ Tasha cried out when she heard the door open and Manor walk out.

Tasha tried to touch her cheeks but it hurts so much. Jay had never even laid a finger on her no matter how much she kept irritating him, now she sees the difference between Jay and other men.

Jay woke up very early that morning, he held his wife photo and clenched his fist tightly, if that man touched his wife then he doesn’t know what he will do to him.

And if Sara had a hand in this then he will make sure she never sees another family to destroy.

He dressed up then went downstairs, his friends were already downstairs waiting for him.

‘Clovis I think you should stay, what about my sister’ Jay said as he walked down and Clovis laughed out.

‘Your sister personally pushed me out of the house to go rescue her friend, and see this lunch box she sent it for you and am in charge of making you eat it’ He said while pointing at the box on the table..

‘Just tell her I ate it….Ivo should we leave?’ Jay asked and Ivo nodded.

Valery walked towards the sitting room together with Lili and they were fully dressed.

‘Oh oh, Lili I forgot to mention yesterday that you are not coming along’ Jay said immediately he saw Lili dressed that way.

‘Well you forgot to mention, now it’s too late to mention’ she rolled her eyes stubbornly.

‘Lili we will not go through this phase again, you guys will move in with Catherine till am back, mom already left’ He said and Lili frown.

‘Dad I want to be of help’

‘And what about Cycal? Are you going to leave her alone and you will only be a burden if you come along’

‘It’s not fair’ she pouted angrily.

‘Mr. Brown Lili can stay by my side and I will protect her, it’s my hometown’ Valery said and Lili smiled at her.

‘See, I won’t get involve with your plans’ she suggested and Jay already had a headache.

‘Dad don’t bother about me, I will be with Aunt Cathy…besides I love being there’ Cycal added as well.

‘Well you will be safer with me around’ Louis who stood by the door walked towards them with a smile.

‘Why does he always show up at the wrong time’ Lili thought irritated.

‘Louis am glad you came, then am sure the girls will be save with your protection….let’s wait for Nathan to come pick up Cycal before leaving’ Jay said and just then they heard the doorbell.

Nathan walked in together with Santos, Jay hired almost half of New York bodyguards just to guard his little princess when he is not around.

‘Please take care of her’ Jay said and Nathan nodded before leaving with Cycal.

They all walked out of the house and got into Jay’s car, Louis walked towards his bike and the car was lacking a seat.

‘Someone can join me’ Louis said and Valery was about to go join Louis when Lili held her.

‘You are our guest and should feel comfortable…go on and sit in the car’ Lili said then took Louis helmet and joined him.

‘Hold me tight’

 ‘In your dreams’ she scoffed.

‘If you are not interested in holding me then why didn’t you let Valery come along?’ Louis teased but Lili’s reply left him speechless.

‘Coz I don’t want you lying and taking advantage of her’

Jay’s car drove away and Louis tailed them from behind.

They rode for half an hour before arriving at the shore were the boat was kept.

They all walked into Jay’s personal boat and a sailor was already around.

‘I know the direction to Rockland Village so I will sit with the sailor’ Ivo said then joined the sailor.

Jay walked into a room and picked some guns.

Louis walked in and saw him holding the gun.

‘Wow that’s classic, do you have a license for that?” he asked in amusement.

‘What do you think kid?’ Jay scoffed and Louis walked forward and held the gun.

The gun was so classic that he fell in love with it, he decided to give it a try and pointed the gun into the air.

Lili walked in together with Valery and saw Louis holding the gun like a professional.

‘Wow cool’ Valery said in admiration and Lili scoffed.

‘We definitely have different definitions of the word cool, the guy is just showing off’ she hissed and walked towards them.

Valery ran towards Louis and Jay ‘Can I try it?’ she asked happily.

‘No’ Louis rejected quickly

‘Why can’t she? It’s just an empty gun and not charged….let me have a look’ Lili asked and Louis handed the gun to Lili who scanned it.

Valery had a huge frown, she asked first…she pouted.

‘Do you know how to use one?’ Louis asked and walked towards Lili.

‘Not really, my friends in the state usually tag along with this’

‘So did Josh have one?’ Louis asked and Lili frowned hearing the name.

‘Do you always have to spoil my mood’ She frowned angrily then handed him the gun.

‘Don’t blame me, your mood is always bad’ he rolled his eyes.

‘Stay away from me’ she warned then turned to leave when Louis held her hands.

‘Ask something else’ he stared deep into her eyes, Valery could feel her heart hurt.

‘You have to get use to this’ she tried encouraging herself.

‘Hey kid behave’ Jay warned and Louis immediately left Lili’s hands.

Jay walked out and joined Clovis.

‘Hum Louis you could tell me about the internet while we are here, I have always wished to be a blogger’ Valery said gaining Louis attention.

‘You could be a famous blogger if you interview Lili in your page’ Louis suggested while glancing at Lili.

Valery walked towards him and whispered.

‘You like her?’ she asked and Louis smiled.

‘Like is an understatement, I Love her’ he replied.

‘But she doesn’t feel the same right? She is Lili Brown and men are waiting in line for her…maybe she will never look your way’ Valery said and Louis found what she said funny.

‘What do you mean by she will never look my way? Am way better than all those men’ he said proudly and of course he was way better than them.

He use to have a cool job and he is also the president son, Lili was the one with a problem as she could not see him.

‘Then why does she hate you?’ Valery asked confused.

‘She doesn’t hate me, she hate Liars and I am one’ Louis said and Valery rolled her eyes.

‘Whats there about lying? It’s just an untold phenomenon….she shouldn’t hate you because of that’

‘Guess you both have a different mentality about life, Lili believes a single lie could ruin a lot of lives’

‘Well if she doesn’t appreciate you then you could always look around for someone else’

She smiled at him and he nodded before walking out to join Jay.

‘Jay see, we are here’

‘That’s my home’ Valery screamed in joy, her house was the closest to the sea and that’s why she was able to see Tasha first.
