KATRYN pov:
Dad, where is calvin? I asked immediately i step into the living room.
Something urgent came up at his company so he left but he said he will send his driver to pick you and derek when you are done, he said.
Okay dad, I said.
Not long, I got a call from braden that calvin needs me right now I asked why but he told me to hurry up and come to the office unless calvin is going to kill one of them.
Dad, I need to leave calvin needs me now, I said while taking my bag.
It seems really urgent, he said.
Yes dad, anita please take care of derek for me I will be back to pick him up, I said to anita.
You can count on me sis, she replied.
Don't be naughty, i said to derek.
I won't mum, derek said.
Be a good boy, I said while kissing his cheeks then I left the Berneldo mansion heading straight to the Buernevista company.
After thirty minutes, I arrived at the company so I walk straight to his office immediately i arrived at the front of his office i saw braden and his assistant.
What the hell happened? I asked curiously.
Thank goodness you're here sister in law,he really needs you,am sure his going to tell you what happen, braden said.
Braden can you please go and pick derek up and drop him at home I left him at the Berneldo mansion,I said.
Anything for you sister in law,he said and left with John. So I entered the office and I saw calvin looking soo furious.
Calvin, i called while moving close to him.
You shouldn't be here,he said still not looking at me.
I have to besides you need me,I said.
You need to leave i don't want to hurt you,he said.
I can't leave you in this state,I replied immediately while trying to touch him but instead he jerk my hand away.
I don't need you katryn and besides you are only a substitute so stay away from me,he shouted furiously.
I was only trying to help,I said trying hard not to let the tears fall.
I don't need your help and you can never be her,he said furiously. I took my bag and run out of the company with tears in my eyes.
CALVIN pov:
I just feel soo furious, angry and devastated, I know I shouldn't have talk to katryn like that but I can't just control the anger am feeling inside me and also I hate to let anyone see me at my worst state.
I took my car key and step out of the office heading straight to the parking lot,I entered my car and drove off.
BRADEN pov:
Immediately i left the company,I head straight to the Berneldo mansion to pick up derek.i just arrived at the Berneldo mansion,am sitted in their living room i was told to wait by one of the maids,not long I heard footsteps,I looked up and saw derek and the girl which i could not stop thinking about.
She looks soo beautiful,I said to myself.
Hey dude,I said to derek.
Uncle braden, derek replied.
I came to take you home,I said to derek.
What about mum? He asked.
She is with your dad,I replied.
Okay,he said.
Thank you soo much for taking care of derek,I said.
It fine and he is such a nice kid,she said with a smile on her face.
Am braden Buernevista,I said.
Am anita Berneldo,she replied.
It soo nice to meet you anita,I said.
Same here,she said.
Okay anita,I will see you next time then,I said while carrying derek on my shoulders.
Of course,she said then I left the Berneldo mansion.
Anita pov:
I can't believe that the guy which I bump into at the mall is actually katryn's brother inlaw.
I just can't wait to see him again, i said to myself while looking at him as he left the Berneldo mansion.
I head straight to meet dad in his room because I have decided to ask for his forgiveness and be the daughter he wants me to be.
Am soo sorry dad please forgive me for everything I have done,I said to him with tears in my eyes.
I have already forgiven you anita since when you decide to be a change person,he said.
Thank you soo much dad and I promise to be the daughter you always wanted,I said while wiping the tears on my face.
You don't have to cry,he said and hugs me.
AIDEN pov:
I couldn't stop thinking about kara ever since that night incident,I mean why did she have to leave.i already sent my personal assistant to find out about her background.
Sir,these files contains every information about miss kara,he said while dropping an envelope on the table.
Okay, you may leave,I said then he left.
I pick up the envelope and open it and I saw all information about kara.
I will make sure i find you kara,I said to myself....
JACOB pov:
We have already arrived at one of my mansion in country A so I sent for one of my men which resides in country A to get information about the murderer.
Sir,miss Audrey has already been put behind bars and also we already sent the evidence regarding the accident to mr calvin,he said.
Okay you may leave and make sure no harms ever come to my daughter,I said.
Yes boss,he said and left...
