       ROYAL CHAPEL - NEW YORK CITY

"If there is anyone who thinks this couple shouldn't be married . Come out now or forever hold your peace" The priest said and Summer Edgar, dressed in her wedding gown and standing beside the man she love and whom she will be married to soon waited for the question to pass so the wedding can begin.

No one would want to stop her from getting married. Everyone here are friends who wish her the best.... Her thoughts stopped running when she saw a man she recognise amongst the guest. He had his eyes on her and he gave her that wicked smile of his before getting up.

"I do not wish for them to be married" he said as he stood at  the aisle still starring at Summer.

"Why do you say so?"The priest asked.

"Its simple. The bride belongs to me"he replied shocking everyone in the church.

"Whats going on Summer? Do you know him?" Jack Bradford, her husband to be asked as he glared at the man who is stirring up the whole church.

"I don't"Summer replied as she moved close to Jack.

"You do Summer. You know who I am very well"He replied as he walked towards them.

"Look whoever you are. You are disrupting our wedding. I would like for you to leave"Jack said as he stood in front of Summer.

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" He said glaring at Jack.

"Am her husband to be. So get lost before I make you"Jack stated fiercely.

"I wanted to do this the easy way but your forcing me to do it the hard way. Should I really make it hard for you Summer?"He asked and she carefully thought about his words.

The last time he had spoken to her. She had made it clear that she wanted nothing from him and he had told her that she can never escape him. 

If someone had told her that her life would change drastically six months ago, she would never have believed. 

If she had been warned that meeting Gabriel Forester would turn her life around. She would have done her best to run away. Running away would have been better than this. Summer thought as her mind drifted off to the past.

                 SIX MONTHS BACK

"Please! Please don't kill me. I will pay the money" A  man who was kneeling on the floor. Bruised and hurt from the beaten he had been given earlier begged the three men who stood in front of him.

"By running off? You were running off without paying me and that's something I hate to the core"Taking the gun from one of his men. Gabriel shot the man thrice before returning the gun.

"Do not dispose his body. Let it rot out here" Gabriel ordered as he walked off while one of his men followed suit.

"Update bear" Gabriel said to the man beside him. Calling him by the Nick name they had given each other.

"Lewis Edgar keeps losing at the gambling den and he hasn't payed back the ones he borrowed" Mark Fisher known as Bear and also the right hand man of Gabriel said to him.

"Let him keep on gambling. He will surely pay us back" Gabriel said to him.

"I don't think this man will be able to pay us back, Red" Mark countered.

"Then we can get something as collateral from him. I heard he has a daughter"

"He does. Will you be taking his daughter if he can't pay back?"Mark asked and Gabriel nodded.

"She's useless to us if we take her. What do you intend to make her do? "Mark asked.

"To be a slave"Gabriel told him.

"We have enough slave as it is and I don't think this girl in particular knows anything about being a slave. She's the princess  type"Mark said.

"How do you know that? Have you seen her ?"Gabriel asked.

"I ran into her once when I went to get the first payment from her father and I can tell you that that girl will be useless to us if we take her. Let's just stop this man from gambling and make him pay us" Mark suggested.

"Now you've spiked up my interest. I would like to see this daughter of Edgar before doing anything" Gabriel stated as he got into the car.

Knowing that he couldn't change his mind. Mark got into the car taking him to where he would see this daughter of Edgar.

"Is she really here?"Gabriel asked as they sat in the car while waiting for her to leave the boutique she was in.

"Yes. She spends her day here because she is preparing for her wedding" Mark replied.

"You really are well informed about this girl. What did you say her name is?"Gabriel asked.

"Summer Edgar" 

"Summer"Gabriel echoed after him liking the name.

Gabriel was still muttering the name when Mark got a call.

"We've got to leave, Red" Mark said as soon as he end the call.

"What's wrong?"Gabriel asked.

"The Lion squad have stolen our truck which has goods in it"Mark told him.

"Those Bastards! Let's leave"Gabriel said and Mark did as he said. He reversed  the car only to hit something.

"What was that?"Gabriel asked.

"I think I hit someone"Mark replied and immediately Gabriel got out of the car to check on the person that have been hit only to see a lady on the floor.

People were gathering around them and after asking them to call for an ambulance. 

He knelt to see if she was still breathing and she was.

"Miss! Miss! Can you hear me?" He asked and immediately she opened her eyes to stare at him.

Gabriel couldn't deny the fact that she had the most beautiful eyes. He was lost starring at it for a while but regained himself when she closed her eyes again.

"Is she okay?"Mark asked as he knelt beside him.

"She's still breathing"Gabriel replied staring at the lady sleeping face. Though she's unconscious. She's still beautiful.

"Summer! Summer!"A lady yelled as she ran out of the boutique coming towards them.

"Summer"The lady called making Gabriel stare at Mark.

"Is she Summer?" Gabriel asked and Mark nodded.

"Why didn't you say "Gabriel said as he carried her into his arms taking her to their car.

"Where are you taking her?" The lady asked.

"To the hospital. Are you a friend of hers?"Gabriel asked.

"Yes"The lady replied.

"Then get into the car. We can't wait for the ambulance to arrive"Gabriel said and as soon as the lady was settled in with the unconscious Summer. Gabriel moved to the passenger seat only to be stopped by Mark.

"We have somewhere important to go? Why don't you just leave her here till the ambulance show up" Mark said.

"I can't do that. The lorry business can wait and there is a possibility that she might be my slave in the future. I can't let her die" Gabriel replied as he got into the car.

               AT THE HOSPITAL 

Summer opened her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar room. The last thing she remembered was being hit by a car. Whatever happened next is blank to her.

"Your awake"On hearing the voice. She turned to see a man starring at her.

He isn't what every girl will refer to as handsome but with his physique and the proud way he stood. They will certainly refer  him as a hottie and don't all girls fancied men who gives out a bad boy vibe. 

Well she's glad that Jack isn't one to give out such vibe.

"Who are you?"She asked.

"Your saviour"He replied.

"You were the one who brought me here?"She asked still feeling a bit dizzy and he nodded moving towards her.

"They really are pretty"He said suddenly.

"What?"

"Your eyes. I thought them beautiful but now that I look closer I think they are pretty and alluring. It keeps drawing me in" he told her.

What is he saying? She thought as she tried sitting up but failed to do so. Moving the short distance that separate them. He helped her to sit up

She didn't know if he had gotten close to her on purpose but she didn't like the way his hands had held onto her waist when he was helping her.

"Apart from having the most prettiest eyes. You have a unique smell. I like it too" he said as he stared down at her.

"Who are you and why do you keep on saying weird things?"Summer asked wanting to know who he is and why he is spilling out nonsense. Is he one of the psychiatric patient in the hospital? 

"Must I tell you who I am?"he asked.

"Its the right thing to do"She replied and he moved towards her again. 

"Let's just say am your future owner or better yet am going to be your future lover"He drawled the last word as  he stared at her body Lustfully.

She couldn't give him a reply because Brenda walked into the room.

"Your awake!"She said as she hugged her tight.

"I was so scared back then. You were just in the boutique trying out your wedding dress and a while later you were lying on the floor unconscious. If it wasnt for him. I don't know what would have happen"Brenda told her.

"Are you sure that he helped me. Isn't he a run away from the Psychiatric ward?"Summer asked this softly. Not wanting him to hear her.

"Am not a run away from the psychiatric ward. I can assure you that am perfectly okay and I meant everything I said earlier"He said reminding her of the things he had said a while ago.

"I have to leave now but I will be back in the evening to see you Miss Edgar "With a bow to the both of them. He left the room and as soon as he left. Summer could breathe freely again.

"That man is a nut job. Are you sure that he is the one who brought me here?"Summer asked.

"He is and why do you call him a nut job. To me he isn't and if it weren't for the situation. I would have gotten his number. He's just so hot" Brenda said as she licked her lips.

"That man is a psycho. Its best that I leave before he gets back"Summer said 

"But you haven't fully recovered yet. The doctor haven't....."

"I don't need the doctor. All I want now is to leave. I don't want that man coming back to find me here"Summer insisted.

"Why?"

"I don't like him. He might look hot to you but to me he looks dangerous and my intuition has never failed me"She said 

"Fine then. I will get the doctor to discharge you and then we can leave.

 

             BLUE DRAGON DEN  

"Just like you said she left the hospital"One of Gabriel men informed him.

"Thank you shark. You can go back to your post"Gabriel said dissmissing him.

As soon as Shark left. Mark walked into the room.

"How did it go?"Gabriel asked.

"We got our truck back but the goods in it have been taken. No doubt by those bastards"Mark said.

"No worries. We will surely hit the Lion squad back with something bigger. As of now I have to go and gamble"Gabriel said as he stood up.

"But we have important things to do here and....."

"Later. What's important now is that I win this game tonight"Gabriel replied interrupting him.

"Why?"Mark asked.

"Have decided to have Lewis Edgar daughter and the only way to achieve that is by playing this game tonight"

"You don't have time for this, Red. What you should concentrate on now is the business"Mark said trying to change his mind.

"The business is my main priority and having Summer Edgar too is my main priority. Don't worry Bear. I will make sure I work hard to get the both of them"Gabriel replied as he left the office. Heading to the gambling den below.
